   The best way to help is through a monthly scholarship which covers in some way how you most want to help a boy, or several boys. It could be a food stipend, or an educational stipend, or both. You may also choose a half stipend, or whatever amount you choose to support the boys. With your help, a child will receive the education and affection that could change his life forever. Get in touch with us and I know that you also can be a part of making a difference.

   The most efficient way that your donation can be applied entirely to cover the needs of the children is by using a credit card. With this system your donation goes directly to the Home's bank account, thus avoiding part of your donation being used for messagers, gasoline, telephone calls, office staff, making deposits, follow up, etc. This is why most of our friends who share in this satisfying project donate by using a credit card.

OTHER FORMS OF HELPING

    We are currently building a third story for our Home. This expansion will allow us to house 40 more boys. Your donation will remain as a perpetual testimony, giving a home to many children in the future. Half of the investment for the new addition is coming from a foundation. You can share this percentage according to your means or that of your business; or you can also help with construction materials and furnishings. This is a wonderful opportunity to make an ongoing commitment to those who have the least!

    Some people are interested in donating their time working directly with the boys or in the administration of the Home. This is a great help and only requires coordination with the General Director, so that the donated work can be coordinated with the schedules of the staff.

    Others offer professional services or in kind donations, usually related to their work. For example, we have dentists who offer their services, businesses which offer help with maintainence of the building, design of brochures, assessments, and various types of gifting. In all cases, the offers of help are registered in the Home's database so that we can get in touch with those who offer help when the need arises. .

    Quite often people bring us clothes, food, shoes, and other items which can be of use to the boys. This type of help is most welcome. We only ask that it be coordinated with the staff, because sometimes we receive things that are not immediately useful and we have to store them or find another institution that can use them.

   There are many ways to help us and all of them are deeply appreciated by us on behalf of the boys, but, especially, we invite you, if you have the means to do it, to make a monthly donation by credit card. We want to be very careful to assure that the every dollar donated goes directly to the education and care that these boys so desperately need.
